Your Expanded Self
It is observed that before part us can expand and come to life a part of us die….
As a human every life wants to grow, thrive, and expand to its fullest energy and space. Our journey of life starts and ends in these pursuits. Every life has its unique journey which they need to take, certain experiences to experience, something to cocreate, somethings to let go, and so on during this whole journey.
Shedding is a natural and necessary part of our growth, it is often painful or, if we don't realize what's happening, confusing and disorienting. The confusion and disorientation are often the messengers that tell us a shift is taking place within us. As we are growing right from the stage of infancy, adolescent, adulthood and beyond we experience several shifts where we keep letting go or shedding some part of us. With each transition from one phase to another, we find ourselves saying goodbye to things, place, identity, personality, memories and friends that we had formed to belong and be one with that role.
Have you noticed, every time you moved away from something you let go of something, some part of us died there and new part come to life?
Sometimes we form some identities in relationships or jobs, and when we shift those areas of our life become unsettled and uncomfortable. Some of us get so entangled in these identities that we don’t realise that we are lost and fighting ourselves hard to protect something, that very nature needs change and shift to move to the next phase. New part of us cannot be born within the confined shell of protection, old self and just surviving. Let’s acknowledge the sadness and uncertainty we feel within when we bid goodbye to part of ourselves that is dying to make way to for a whole new identity is ready to emerge in its place.
We repaint our house that we live in, declutter old stuffs to make place for new, animals shed their skin to form a new one……so is our nature as a human, change is inevitable and every change helps you expand your experience, perceptions and your identity.
We can surrender to this process, letting go of our past self with great love and gratitude, and welcoming the new with an open mind and heart, ready for our next phase of life.
Just for today, lets reflect what part of you is feeling confined?
What can you let go to make space?
What does your expanded self…. Look like, feel like and being life?
What can change for you?
Who would you be?
What would you do?
Where would you be?
When the part of You experience the freedom from those emotions, and conditioning, to simply BE…….. where every cell of your body is infused with excitement and eagerness allowing all the chains and confinement to dissipate as you move into your next experience.
What would it feel like to surrender fully to your Expanded Self?
